End of term

Well everyone, this will probably be my last post, unfortunately I am way to busy to keep it up. I will be posting on my business blog regularly. I hope everyone does great on their final projects and/or exams. And good luck during the rest of your time here at Kaplan.

Unit 9

I still can't believe we are almost finished with this term already. Where does the time go? I was very behind this term compared to my last terms. So much going on in personal life with family being sick and awaiting being laid off from my job, I think I have a couple more weeks before they close up totally. Trying to get my housecleaning business up and running enough to keep me afloat without a full time position for a while. We will see how things go. Anyway, good luck to everyone.

Well, here I am making my blog post on Tuesday night before the deadline. This week has been even busier than the last few. I had to call an ambulance to take my husband to the ER on Saturday, ended up being kidney stones. He has been in so much pain. I have been so far behind in my assignments the last few weeks, trying to get my house cleaning business off the ground before I get laid off from my full time job at the end of the month. Anyone have any suggestions for me there?
Will I continue this blog after class finishes? Probably not, but I will continue the blog I set up for my business. I hope that one, along with my website starts to get some more attention. So I hope to see you all in unit 9 seminar.

Unit 7 already

Only a few more units, and this term will be over. They go by so fast. Been really busy this week again, I am behind in posting my discussion boards and missed both classes this unit so I need to do option 2 assignments, not done yet. I hope to finish those today. I also need to do some more work on my essay to get it ready for final submission. How is everyone else doing? I really need to win the lotto, life would be much easier. I just am trying to do too much at one time and drive myself crazy. Well I guess I better get to the discussion boards too. See ya.

oops I guess I was wrong

I just realized that I need to look on the first page of the unit work under blog to see if there is an actually assignment on the blog or you can write about anything. We must write about our essays and the last 6 weeks, etc.
I can't say I have really been dealing with anything the last 6 weeks in regards to my essay. I love to research, especially when it is on a topic that interests me or is close to my heart. The only thing I can say I have had to deal with is finding the time to do everything. I have been really busy the last few weeks.
How can my ideas be influential to future research, I do not know. I know my ideas assist me in my research because I already know a lot about my topic from my own personal experiences, so I find it easier to look things up and understand what they are talking about even when the article may be very technical in medical terminology and such. I hope that the medical community continues to do studies bariatric surgery for extreme obesity in order to help the many children and teens in the US and around the world that suffer daily with obesity and its related illnesses. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions in relation to my topic?

Hey everyone

Well I guess last week I screwed up, I was supposed to write my blog on one of the topics listed and I just rambled on about life. I did not see any topic for this week though. How is everyone doing? Already passed the half way mark for the term, I can't believe how fast these terms fly by. Final essay due in just a few weeks. So, I will probably be getting laid off from my full-time billing job as of 10/1, hoping I can really get my housecleaning business to pick up enough to live off of. Anyway, I wish us all the best on our final essays.

Housecleaning

Well I had a busy few days cleaning and organizing a studio apartment in Yonkers. I have never in my live seen an apartment so filthy. It was unreal, I wanted to set the place on fire.But I made $400 on the job so far, might need one more day to complete.

I need to be cloned!

Hello everyone, I have been so busy this week, I hope I can get everything done for this class and Health care Administration by Tuesday. I just found out on Wednesday that as of October 1st, I along with everyone else at my job may be laid off. I am glad I have been working on getting my cleaning business off the ground. I actually got two calls today, did one job have another on Tuesday. Hope that's a good sign. Last night I was actually almost ready to drop school. I was so upset because my husband can't seem to understand that I am only one person with 2 hands. I am unable to be wonder woman and do it all at the same time. I am working full time, going to school, starting a business, taking care of 3 kids (3,7,15) and him (he is partially disabled), cleaning the house, taking care of a zoo full of animals, and a taxi for my disabled mom also. Sometimes my house cleaning doesn't get done when it should. That's just too bad. Yes he has medical issues but he can still help me out once in a while too. Am I wrong?

The common wart

Ok, I have these two common warts on my finger, for over a year I have been trying everything from liquid wart remover, the little discs, as well as that freeze off stuff (3 times). Nothing was helping. Now they do not hurt or anything, they are just ugly and I want them gone. Because they do not hurt thought, I can't bring myself to go to the doctor and have then lanced or burned out or anything that drastic. So, I went online searching for some home remedy, I guess I was hoping I could go to an alternative medicine store, buy some black salve and wake up in the morning with no more warts. Well, I did not find that but I did find a home remedy that had me hysterical.
Now I grew up in Westchester, NY, not the city but not country area either, kind of in the middle. I now live in upstate, NY were it is country/hillbilly town. We have a joke that all these country people use duct tape for everything. If a shelf falls off the fridge, duct tape it back together, etc. So when I read that duct tape can be used to get rid of the common wart, I just lost it. But being at my wits end, I decided to give it a try; what could I lose? I used duct tape on my finger for a week, changing it every night. Guess what? One wart is gone, and the other is just about. I am amazed, duct tape can be used for just about anything! Maybe I should do my essay on the medical uses of duct tape!

I don't know about the adsense thing, I thought I'd try to make a few $ while blogging but I think it is more trouble than it is worth. Just got paid today and already broke, I need all the help I can get. We went on a family vacation and came home owing the bank $455 in overdraft fees. Banks suck!

Good morning all, The beginning of another week. Back to work tomorrow. I was up late on petfinder.com. I am considering adopting a dog, I'm probably nuts but why not. I have always been partial to big dogs, especially Rottweilers. It is unbelievable what you need to go through these days to adopt a pet, it is almost like adopting a child. I guess there are far too many animal abusers in this world that it has come to this; sad. Well I guess I better finish my text book reading for Healthcare Administration so I can do the quiz and discussion before it is too late. See ya!
